Based In The National Opera House, Belcanto Vocal Workshops provide specialist musicianship training, workshops and singing lessons

At our workshops students will be given vital preparatory training in pitch and rhythm, have their inner hearing developed and learn to read music notation.

      All our sessions  adopt an 'holistic' approach to learning, using the best vocal practice which also includes the study of:-

• Tonic sol fa through the Kodaly approach which will enable students to develop inner hearing and sight reading skills. 
• A practical understanding of rhythm and phrasing which is developed through movement skills

Students are taught in small groups which will allow them to develop at there own pace and gradually develop their ' solo' voice.
